The children were very busy in Pod B today. Although the weather was dreary outside, the children didn't let that bring down their play inside!
Many children used the lego table and the magna tiles to build in the Maple room.
The children were also eager to explore some new items that were added to the Pine room since last week. One of the things added was a fishing pond in the park area. The children couldn't wait to catch the fish. Many sorted their fish by colors.
Another addition to the Pine room was real fruits and vegetables in the farmers market. The best part about the food was that it was harvested from the CDLL garden! There were real tomatoes, gourds, pumpkins and apples.
The rain did go away just in time for afternoon outdoor time. The children were relieved that they no longer needed their rain gear. Many were amazed at how fast the sun dried up all of the rain!
