An Active Thrusday in the CDLL!

Today was an exciting day in Pod B!
Since we have had such beautiful weather lately, we decided to go on picnic for lunch! The whole school gathered together and walked to the fountain by the library. We we able to have lunch with our friends from both Pod A, and Pod B at the same time! Some of the families even joined us for lunch!

After we were finished eating, the children we able to spend time playing outdoor games. Many of the children engaged in Duck, Duck, Goose, Red Rover, or a game of Detective.

A small group of children went with Mr. Jonaitis and Ms. Squiers to visit a sculpture outside the North Campus Art Studio. The children brought along magnet tiles and constructed their own model sculptures!

There is also a new woodworking area outside of the maple where children can use wood glue and small wooden pieces to build with.

Have a great weekend!
