Gorgeous Day!

What a great day we had today! Children had fun and continued to explore the prehistoric habitat in the Walnut room.  They had a slew of questions about dinosaurs and even asked to have a few books read to them about the extinct species.
With the knowledge that dinosaurs were actually reptiles the children then wanted to see a reptile in real life.  Luckily we had our classroom pets, Peridot and Tiger there to help us with that request and they were quite lively today! It was fun to see them so active and playful!

Children looked at things differently today with kaleidoscopes! Some children even took two kaleidoscopes together to view things even more differently!
During PM centers the Maple room and Oak room were closed and children had the opportunity to go outside on this sunny, crisp afternoon and get some fresh air! It was fun to be outside and enjoy the beautiful day!

Have a great weekend! Can't wait to see you all on Monday!
