Happy Monday everyone! Welcome back, we hope everyone had fun this weekend!
In Walnut today we added grass and bugs into the dry sensory table. We also added a piano, speaker and water to make sound waves so the children could see what the sound waves looked like.
In Oak today we added a lot of new materials. Sponge paint was added, colored shaving cream was added, silly putty was moved to the light table and we moved some of the tables and materials around for the children.
In Maple today we added saws for the children to saw wood. They also built structures on the risers with wooden blocks and animals.

Reminder: Next Tuesday is our field trip, don't forget to sign up for a lunch if you plan on coming with your child!

Happy Tuesday March 12
Hello families,
Today was a very busy day all over the school. In the kitchen, some children helped make fruit and yogurt parfaits. Basketball was played in the indoor movement room. Also in the indoor movement room after lunch, Pod A put on a concert singing "I Want Candy" by Aaron Carter.
Chipping away at the frozen treasures was the most popular in the Walnut room today. The children used chizzles and hammers to break away the ice and reach the frozen goodies inside. The children also enjoyed watching the train go by from the window.
A lot was happening in the Oak room. Children continued to explore the silly putty, rolling it in their hands to feel the texture and cutting it with knives. Children also had a strong interest in the purple-colored bubbles at the light table. They felt it with their hands and practiced blowing bubbles with straws.
The Pine room was jam packed with action. The new camping ground and store is a big hit. The children had a lot of fun filling the backpacks and shopping bags with all sorts of items from the store to take camping. There was also a lot of play in the nursery. Babies were fed lunch, weighed, bathed, and put to bed.
