Monday, June 4, 2012 - Pod A

Happy Monday! The week is off to a great start...

In pod A, the sensory tables have been updated to include a water table with plastic sea creatures and a sand table with plastic land creatures; many of the children seemed to enjoy exploring the updated sensory tables today. While outside, the children got creative by draping sheets from the fence and tree branches to make hammocks and tents. The children showed pride in the gardens that they helped plant last week by tending to and watering the plants today. Also notable for today: there were opportunities for bike rides this morning, and a parachute activity this afternoon that the children were thrilled to participate in.

Finally, flyers went out today to explain our field trip to the museum on campus where we will attend the Journey Through the Jungle exhibit on June 12. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend alongside your child; if you're interested in joining in on the trip, please inform one of the teachers so that we can plan the trip accordingly. Thank you.

Wishing each of you a wonderful week ahead!

Kindly,
Mrs. Venglar
