One of the children in the CDLL has been out for a few weeks, because they have been sick. We decided in our small group to pick a day to make get well soon cards for him. Today we made them at the writing center during our time in the Pine Room. Many of the children observed the photo of Carter J. and noticed his Dinosaur shirt and the woody doll that was in the background and included that in their cards. They drew pictures and asked us to write words explaining the picture
"I'm making him a dinosaur." -Dekyn
"Carter this is you hanging out in a tractor. I hope you feel better." Charlie
"I'm writing Carter's name!" Sophia
