A Windy Cold Tuesday

This morning in the Walnut room, Max Andrew, E.J., P.J., Gabrielle, Sabryna, and Alexis were playing in the water table transferring water to each table using hoses, turkey basters, measuring cups, and funnels. The water began as two different colors, blue and yellow, through out the day after moving the water the color changed to green. A teacher asked Alexis what color is the water and Alexis said, "Blue and green makes green water." In the Oak room, the children had a chance to use the pottery wheel with Mrs. Upton. Memo, Olivia L, Jude, Juli, Leah, Ty, Pelumi, Annabella, Zin, Marcilyn, Cooper, A.J., Daniel, and Tony experimented with the clay and learned how to use the wheel. Memo, Sumaya, Tony, and Leah worked on painting the community rock project. The wind and rain did change up our schedule for the day. It took us longer to get outside before lunch due to putting on all of our rain gear and waterproof gloves. Also, we were unable to to go outside during the afternoon. We extended the center time and then the children gathered together and we finished the day with a dance party.
