Nature Filled Monday

CDLL Families,

Today in the Walnut and Oak rooms there was a lot of new arts and crafts projects introduced that included nature. In the Oak room, the children had the option to modge podge with colorful fall leaves. The children also had the option to sketch a pumpkin and then paint the inside with watercolors. Nature items were also introduced in the Walnut room for the kids to explore and become more familiar with. In the kitchen, the children were able to paint pumpkins. This helped to show the kids that you can paint on more things than just paper and get them familiarized with different textured painting surfaces.

Cynthia was testing out how different colored paint looked on the Pumpkin.

Jamie sketched the pumpkin and was sure to add the texture she saw from the pumpkin onto her drawing.

Micah, Nikayla, Sarah and Axel spent some of there center time working on modge podge
Have a great evening!
