Happy Second Week of October!

Dear CDLL Families,

The children were engaged in many different areas throughout the school. This morning in the Walnut room, the children explored the dry sensory tables with funnels, tongs, spoons and cups. One table is filled with corn and seeds and the other is filled with beans. The Oak room was very busy in the morning. Daniel, NA'Zya, and Casey were at the sketching table with Mr. Jonatis looking at a pumpkin and sketching what they saw. They were then able to paint their sketch with water colors. Brooke and Sarah were also painting pumpkins in the Oak room. Max was sorting the transportation counters by color. In the Afternoon in the Maple room, William and Andrew build ramps for their monster trucks. In the Pine room, Cynthia and Ellianna were preparing pizza in the pizza parlor. The student teachers also had a new experience today, as they are now moving about the entire school throughout the day.

William, Andrew, and Casey built three ramps for their monster trucks to ride on.  Casey was filling up his truck with different colored rocks.

Max sorted the transportation counters by color. He matched the color of the counter to the color of the bowl.

Destiny was using the finger tongs to pick up the corn.

Violet and Olivia K. were on their way to work at the farmer's market.

Mr. Arnekrans, Juli, and Memo were running around playing tag together on the playground this afternoon, there were smiles all around!
Have a wonderful night and we hope to see everyone tomorrow!
