Happy Friday!
The children spent the half day outside running around and having fun. They had some special things to do today outside. Eassays helped Mrs. Nims clean out the rain barrels and fill them so the children could have water with the sand in the sandbox. Then the children took the buckets, pitchers, and toy trucks to the barrels to fill up and they made mud and explored how water and sand effect each other.
The children had another option to work with water today as well. The teachers got out the watering cans and a tub full of water so the children could help water the flowers and vegetables that were planted on Monday. They got to fill their own watering can and work in the area that they wanted to water. This way everyone is responsible for caring for the nature in our environment.
