| Carson: "The rocks all sink!" |
It was a great start to the new week here in Pod A and we had a lot of new things for the children to explore and they came in with lots of energy and excitement!
New this week was sponge painting and corn starch and water in the art center, and new in the discovery area tables was dried corn with tools in the dry table and water with objects for the children to test out which ones would sink and what ones would float in the wet table.

We also had a special visitor in the morning as Alex's mom came in and read a book to the Oak classroom. It was such a beautiful last October day that we didn't want it to go to waste it so we went outside a little early at the end of the day to enjoy one of the last few good days we have left before snow falls.
