Pod B's Rainy Day Stroll

Today was dreary, but that didn’t stop Pod B from blazing a trail of our own!  We decided to take a walk around campus during our outside time.  As they navigated their way down Washington Street, up Preston, and through campus back to the CDLL, the children were interested in the texture and color of the leaves as well as the Central Michigan Students they saw walking about.

We took a minute to see if the entire class could fit into the bus stop, and all of Pod B fit, if you don't count teachers, that is! The children practiced safety on the walk as well, by walking together and stopping at traffic crossways to look and listen for vehicles.

Earlier in the day, some students were able to make Banana-Chocolate Chip Muffins with Ms. Keck in the Dining Room, which were available, as usual, with their afternoon snack.  During center time, the pretend area and construction saw a lot of action.  A lot of children were interested in towing items using the bungee cords that were added to the construction area this week.

Enjoy the weekend, and don’t forget to “Fall Back” with the time change!
