Finger Painting Fun!

During our A.M. center time today, there were a few kids who were in the Maple room and wanted to finger paint. Paint is poured out onto the table by teachers and the kids were able to say what colors they wanted to use! They made different designs in the paint and were writing their names!

Asher says, "Look, watch me! I can write my name in this paint, you want to see? It's easier than using a marker." Asher continued to practice writing his name in the paint.

Later, Livy joined in and she showed Asher how to move around the table in a circle to make designs. Livy says, "Asher, if we move this way we can make a bunch of designs in the paint! You can see a pattern when we put our fingers like this!"

It was a great day in the CDLL today. The weather made a great turn around and it ended up being a beautiful day for the kids to enjoy being outside.
