Nature Collage

Previously discussed in the blog was the art cart. The art cart is taken outside during both outside play times to offer the kids the opportunity to create art if they choose. Each week the teachers team up to decide new fun activities to take place on the art cart. This week we decided to corporate spray paint bottles with a nature collage. The kids got to design the collage with all sorts of different leaves, sticks, and pine cones.

Evie was very excited to participate in the activity. She grabbed a leaf, picked a spot and taped it down. "This is where I'm putting this leaf!" explained Evie excitedly.

It wasn't long until Gavin and Graham joined in designing the nature collage. They both added several pine cones and leaves. Graham said, "This is a small pine cone."

Once the kids decided that the design was complete, it was time to add some spray paint! Victoria grabbed a bottle filled with blue paint and started to spray some leaves.

Livy joined in by grabbing a red spray paint bottle. She also sprayed multiple different sticks, leaves and pine cones that made up the nature collage.
