Music in the CDLL

Everyday in the CDLL there is an opportunity for children to play with many different instruments such as drums, the triangle, xylophone and maracas. Most of these instruments are located in the hallway so the children can plan to spend their center time there. The children often make music together while learning to play the different instruments.

"The drums make a loud noise" - Michael

"What instrument is this?" - Sovie

"I want to play the xylophone for a little while" - Brody

2. Early Learning Expectation: Children show how they feel, what they think, and what they are learning through listening, participating in, and creating instrumental and vocal music experiences.
