Mastodon Museum Exhibit- Pod A

Today Pod A children went to the Mastodon Museum Exhibit on Central's campus.  The children had the opportunity to listen to the workers at the museum talk about where the Mastodon's lived, how they evolved over time, and specific ways they had been hunted.

"I see a baby bird!" - David
"I see legs, ears, and eyes on that." -Carter B.
"I see a bird." - Ana
"I see cattails." -Tommy

Children held hands in a circle to help them understand the actual size of a Mastodon.

"It has has tusks!" -David 

Children participated by taking turns trying to put a ring on the Mastodon's tusk. 

Children played pin the husk on the Mastodon.
