Ice, Sand, And A Helping Hand!

This week in the Walnut room we introduced ice blocks and a new recipe for sand for the children. The children worked together to use watercolors to paint on the ice blocks and observe. The children used a recipe with three ingredients to make sand as well. They were able to touch the sand and make observations.

Gigi and Elizabeth painted and observed the cracks in the ice.

"This is going to be a beautiful red"-Elizabeth

Isabell called the sand, "Squishy Sand"

"It feels like soft soap."-Gigi
