It was another beautiful day at the CDLL. POD B students came this morning to see a few different things in our classrooms. The Pretend Center now has a Veterinarian office where the children can take care of animals just like a Vet would! The children all seem to be very interested in animals these past few weeks. Right next to the office is a new picnic area. In the art studio, there is a new painting experience with pop bottles. Fun feeling floam is now at the texture table. And to top off what's new at the centers, the light table has hair gel with glitter for a squishy feeling. The children loved the way the gel felt! Another big change brought to the children today was the Maple room is now open for morning centers, while the Pine is open during afternoon centers, while still being able to choose to go outside all day. The children are still loving the insect puppets outside in the amphitheater, doing many plays, dancing with them, and playing tag with them! There was a morning bike ride and an afternoon parachute activity the children were happy to participate in. Tracing their bodies with chalk on the sidewalk was another popular activity today. It was a great day in POD B!
