Monday, June 11, 2012: Pod A

Today was an all day water day! There were many additional outdoor activities that the children could participate in, such as: finger painting, water painting on the slate on the exterior of the building, bubbles, throwing wet sponges, the slip & slide and carwash sprinklers, and--several children's favorite activity--playing in the plastic pool and on the tarp which were filled and covered with shaving cream! During lunchtime, the children got to get out of the heat to have an indoor, picnic-style lunch along with the children in Pod B. The children really seemed to enjoy having a buffet lunch together as a whole school. It was a fun-filled day! The week ahead looks just as promising, with our Journey Through the Jungle museum field trip tomorrow and another field trip on wednesday to Island Park.
