How do Children Explore with Floam?

Today in the Walnut room children explored with Floam. The children experimented by manipulating the Floam in different ways. Some children chose to use their hands while others decided to use tools. The tools that children chose to use included rolling pins and cutters.

Grant chose to use his hands to investigate the Floam. He squished the Floam between his fingers. "It's really sticky!" he commented.

Ashtin spent a long time exploring the Floam. He used both his hands and the rolling pin to shape the Floam.  Ashtin flattened the Floam exclaiming, "I made a ball pancake!" He created a ball that he rolled across the table and he also used a rolling pin to create a tall structure.

Katherine decided to make a pizza with the Floam. She chose to cut the pizza and share pieces with some of the other children.
"Here is a pizza! It's a little hot!- Katherine

Lila chose to use a rolling pin to flatted the Floam and she sang "Roll, roll, roll!" as she worked.
