Happy Monday!
Today the children got to play outside in the morning. While outside some of the children helped plant the gardens out on the playground. They started out planting Marigolds in a few of them beds and the different planters around the playground.
After they got the Marigolds planted they moved to the vegetable garden and started planting seeds. They planted pumpkins, zucchini, green beans, and corn. The children had fun exploring what the different seeds looked like. They also liked coming up with ideas for how they could use the different vegetables. Be it to explore or to use in the cooking classes in the kitchen.
We all enjoyed our enhancing our outdoor experience at school.
