Happy Wednesday!

Today was another hot day at school! Although it was hot the children still enjoyed exploring materials in the classroom and also outside. Today some of the children took a trip with Mrs. Gursky and Ms. Voyles to  Renaissance Kindergarten and other children continued to work in their groups for the play that they are putting on at the end of the school year. Many children enjoy washing dishes in the wet sensory table; this was a new edition to the classroom this week.

Even though it was very warm, we were still able to find shade outside to have our picnic with our sack lunches. The children stayed in the shade by Sweeney Hall on campus and enjoyed playing baseball, catch, and doing some reading after eating lunch. While outside today the children stayed hydrated drinking from their water bottles. They not only used these after lunch, but also while out on the playground.

While outside the children are still working on the woodworking project with children from Pod A. This structure is getting very tall and is also very colorful. All of the children from both Pod A and B have been working very hard on this.

As always I look forward to discovering and learning with all of the children and parents at school and am very excited for all the the upcoming activities that keep us busy while we are at school!
