Maple Room Fun

While some children played outside for centers, some decided to stay in and enjoy an open classroom.  The maple room had some curious minds fill it today! We had children play with the math puzzles, use the iPad to work on spelling and letter recognition, make artwork with the different supplies, and play with the clay!

Leanes stomped on the body clay.
"This is super squishy" she stated.

Teaching Strategies: Children can use their own ideas to draw, paint, mold and build with a variety of art materials.
Children begin to develop an understanding of numbers and explore simple mathematical processes using concrete materials.
