How Can Children Manipulate Different Textures
Today in the Walnut room, there was a new texture for the children to manipulate at the texture table. This week, it is blue ocean slime! The children were describing the different ways that the slime felt to them. The children manipulated it by stretching it, burying things in it, and creating things with it. A teacher asked some students how the slime felt to them.
"It feels wet and sticky!" Divine |
"It's sort of bouncy! It makes my hands feel cold." Andrew |
