There was a lot of activity in the CDLL today! This morning in the Pine Room, Mrs. Potter did the limbo with Jude, Tony, Cynthia, Ty, and Nikayla. The limbo stick started above the children's heads and gradually got lower and they explored different ways to move their under it. In the Maple Room, Mr. Jonaitis used his tablet to make William, Tommy, and Jaquez's drawings look 3-D with the help of an app called colAR Mix. This afternoon the children had extra center time due to the weather. The Oak Room had a special guest today! Jamie Upton introduced the pottery wheel to the children. They learned how to shape the clay while the wheel spun it around. In the Walnut Room, Sumaya, Katherine, Elizabeth, Gigi, and Olivia explored the glow in the dark play dough under the black lights. Axel, Cynthia, Gabrielle, and Dakoda looked through magnifying glasses, noticing it made their eyes look big. At the end of the day everyone came to the Indoor Movement Room for a dance party!
