Happy Thursday Everyone!!!
Today the children went on a field trip to the farmer's market. The children discussed what they wanted to purchase at the farmer's market for our farmer's market in the pine classroom. The children were very excited to see all the fruits and vegetables at the farmer's market. The children were able to smell scents of soap and were very excited to see the different colors and shapes and sizes of different items at the farmer's market. Some children were saying ," whoa look at this!"
We ate walked through the farmer's market and then we went to play on the playground and has a lunch at the picnic tables. After eating we gathered around to listen to a few stories as we waited for the bus to come get us to bring us back to the school.
In the Oak room children were exploring with wire. The children were working together to see how big the wire could get and to add things to the wire.
At the end of the day we didn't go outside because it was raining and very windy so we all went into the indoor movement room and listen to stories and discussed what was going to happen and worked together to say certain quotes in books, we sang and dance while we waiting for our parents to come pick us up from school. Today was a fun day with the field trip!!!
Hope everyone has a good weekend!! Teaching Strategies= The Arts 35: Explores dance and movement concepts. Literacy 18: Comprehends and responds to books and other texts.
